Frequently Asked Questions
How often are prices updated?
Automatically on the 1st and 15th of each month, from major retailers in 9 countries. Every update passes name validation and sanity-range checks that filter out polluted listings before anything is published.
Why are prices shown as approximate values?
We record the lowest listed price at the moment of each snapshot. Street prices move with stock and promotions, so we present rounded values and keep the full history for comparison.
Where do the performance scores come from?
Scores use the public Geekbench benchmark (multi-core for CPUs, Compute for GPUs). The value score simply divides that score by the current local price.
Is HardwareRK affiliated with any manufacturer?
No. Rankings are computed automatically from public benchmark scores and retail prices — no sponsored placements and no paid rankings.
Why do some models have no price in a region?
Only prices that pass name validation and range checks are published; when no trustworthy listing is found in a region, we leave the field empty rather than force a doubtful number. You can also report a price you found on any model page — verified reports appear in the community price section.
